6 Big Social Media In's and Out's for 2010
Recent polls have shown that the average age of social media users: Facebook 33, Twitter 31, Linkedin 39, MySpace 26.

I clearly remember the days when sending jokes via fax was the biggest fad. You were reallly cool, when you and your friends would "page each other" and punch in numbers to read messages upside down.

Then came the world of AOL and the technology of instant messenger and of course emails. Communication to your friends, co workers and family was endless and best of all, insant!

Soon Myspace became the biggest "IT" thing to rock everyone's lives. Your very own page of whatever you wanted, pictures, music, everyone commenting, adding each other, talking to new friends from around the globe, with the click of a button! Perfect world, right?

Introducing: TWITTER.

Twitter took over the world in 2009 with a 1,382% growth in Februrary alone and Facebook continues to outrank ... according to David Armano of Harvard Publishing.

So where does that take us in 2010?

With our horrible economy today and more and more companies suffering, social media is making alot of changes in the way people are spending their money with communication. Companies are tightening on advertising budgets and relying on the power social media to brand their message. Even new company policies are being adapted to the millions of people spending too much of their quality time on social networks. Where do you feel we are headed next with Social Media?
